A little birdie told me Erickson Marine just took delivery yesterday of a 2012 MB Sports 21' TWB. They're not officially a dealer yet, just testing the waters.

Yep, they have the first production 21 Widebody with the new classic gel scheme. Tons of new features on that boat, if you are in the area you should check it out. Here's a little teaser pic.

This is awesome! I've been waiting to find out who the dealer is. Might have to head down there this weekend. My wife likes the colors so that makes it even easier! After seeing Ian's boat I am really liking the MB's!

So does Erickson Marine have two in their posession? A 2011 tomcat for $49k is a steal.

Could be a scam - who knows. Seen a couple scam MB's on CL lately but most have been priced and described like a scam.

The guy who posted the Craigslist ad is supposedly helping out a friend that bought two boats from a dealership that went under. The boats are still at the factory in Cali. So, don't waste your time.

The boat at Erickson has all the new upgrades. I'm headed over there within the week:)

Big thumbs up for bringing MB to MN.. That's awesome - they are great boats, priced appropriately.

MBs are some of the most innovative boat makers out there, very nice.

Why should someone "not waste their time" ??? Nothing to do with Erickson or their 2012 - but a 2011 for $50,900 shipped is still a smokin deal.

I think the guy who is advertising those boats doesn't even have them or own them.

Well, I am totally guessing but I spoke to someone from that area about 2 boats not too long ago. I think this might be the same guy, but not sure.

I was looking on MB's website for standard features. I could not find anything or i was not lookin in the right area.

can anyone help me out with what comes standard. Stereo, engine, cover etc. Is the wetsounds stereo standard?

Also, What could one expect to pay for a 21 twb? Base options. Would it be close to the 2011 tomcat?

The stock stereo is now wetsounds inside the boat with optional Pro 60's on the tower. Engine stock is the PCM 343. Cover, bimini, racks, Zero off, removable carpet, warming tray, pop up plylon, gravity fed ballast system, all standard for 2012.

All these teaser pics of the 2012 MBs on this site and their Facebook page are really starting to irritate me! I want to see the whole boat! :D

There are several full boat pics floating around, but us folks fortunate enough to receive the pics were asked to keep it on the down low. I'm sure they'll leak out eventually. For now, you gotta go look in person:)

Okay, no more little birdie, the boat is over at Erickson Marine. We stopped over there today to take a look at it and it is AWESOME! I've never seen an MB up close but it sure lives up to its billing. Quality, all around, inside and out. Everything really convenient to get at and use. They guys at Erickson are super excited about this. MB has really got something good here.

So is Nelms doing Tige and MB?????

We are still Tige. I have talked to Mike Brendel a couple of times in the past two years about their products. He sent me the photos and info on their new 2012 upgrades, nice looking product. I may go for a factory visit in the future. I have the file on my laptop if you want a copy just email me.
