This year, our lake has a bunch of tiny green seed like objects floating around the dock areas. They stick to the hull and when they are washed off, a little slime stays there. Any home remedies recommended for cleaning them off? I have a black hull so it is driving me nuts.

If you use this stuff, it'll clean the grime off the boat, and it'll throw down a layer of wax so that it's less likely to stick in the future, making the boat easier to clean / wipe down.

www.boatbling.net

RD

(Message edited by riverdave on June 06, 2007)

I did a little test this weekend. I waxed one side of my boat to see if it made a differance as far as a lake skum line from leaving the boat in the water. The result's. The waxed side of the boat had no skum line. I used McGuires Pure Boat/RV wax. It took about 10 min's to do a light coat down the side of the boat. Not sure how long it will last for but its makes the wipe down a bit faster also.
I havent tryed Boat Bling but the Hot boat guy's seem to like it. Dave ill check it out
