Backfeed in my speakers

How do I get rid of back feed in my speakers when boat is running besides turning my amps down?

Back feed, feedback, whatever you call it is a real challenge to identify. This may not seem so intuitive but just leave the system off and use an ipod or other MP3 device that you can use headphones with. Problem solved!!! Everyone is Happy, Happy, Happy!!

If the 'feedback' you are describing only when the engine is running, is actually alternator whine, and changes pitch with a change of rpm, then the most common cause is a supply or ground loop. To fix this you must have only one point for the B+ supply of ALL audio equipment and only one point for the ground of ALL audio equipment.
