I just bought my dream boat a 04 x-star and I wanted to put aftermarket rims and swing around board racks on the boat. Does anyone know if the new mc tower post would work on my tower and what should I do about rims? Thanks for any info.

Congrats on the boat man, a buddy of mine has an 04' Star. It is an awesome boat, wish I had one. <BR> <BR>The swivel board racks will not mount onto your tower. The 04's have the board racks milled right into the tower leg. A good machine shop may be able to help you out but it's not going to be cheap. You would need to cut out the existing board racks and have the tube that the new style racks swivel around welded in or have the tower machined so that the MC part could be attached. I must warn you it is not easy to tower parts, most of the towers are built to order and so getting parts can take longer than you may think. <BR> <BR>Can't help you on rims, I rock stock. I've seen some pretty cool set ups though.
