Jake Sonnevelt Wakeology Team Rider Video
Jake Sonnevelt was in town for a few days. Came down from Texas. Being one of the Wakeology riders he definitely catches my attention. We had a fun time shooting on the butler chain even though we all wish he didnt fracture his finger that bad at the end of the set :D

Ouch. Check out the unnatural bend on that finger. Nice riding though Jake.
Nice riding. Too bad about Jakes finger though.
Broken or Dislocated finger? Man I have dont that before.
Norbi, your editing is getting better by the second! IMO that is the best music you have ever used! SICK! |
Dude, your finger! Ouch. Nice riding!!!
Great vid Norbi. Loved the editing and the music. Bummer about the finger.
What boat were you guys riding? Wake looked narrow. Lots of stuff out into the flats. He's smooth - some sick pokes. |
That tail grab toeside backroll was wild!
I have never seen anyone do that before. Just watching it kind of makes my head dizzy. |
Nice little set Jakester! Hope the finger is back to normal FAST!
Crazy style. Nice edit Norbi.
That was a Batwing to Blind wasn't it?
Jeff, it's a Nautique. By the wake and the tower, I would guess last generation 210

Ugghh how does he just sit there and look at it?!? My first instinct is to always put it back in place. It feels much better after you do.
That board look pretty awesome. Simple, molded fins and a hooked rail, nice. |
Thanks guy!!!
It was a 04 210, we had just been on the road from Tx to Orlando then hit the lake. Finger was dislocated and has a spiral fracture, the orthopedic wants to put pins in it but it could go either way. Then the next day my buddy Colton broke his nose hitting the water. Pretty bad trip when 2 of the 3 people end up in the hospital. |
Sweet riding!!!! another great Norbi vid!
yo norbi when we gonna see one of your boat sets?
Gene, John Marshall is talking about the part at 1:31 or so where he does a tailgrab toe backroll. Definitely unique, and clean looking. Nice riding.

The shape looks kind of like a PS3. I watched that tail ts backroll probably 15x trying to figure out how the hell he did it. His off axis bs 180 was insane too. I had to watch that a few times also. It's almost like it was a ts backroll to blind, he was so off axis. I can't believe it broke his finger like that...OUCH!! I would have set that thing right back in place. It had to be so painful just leaving it crooked like that. Did you guys goto the ER Norbi or just a walk in clinic? Hope he has health insurance lol
Solid Riding Jake!
Kyle_L, me too. I cant figure out that tail TS Backroll, total mindf&@*! That tail TS BS O/A 180 was so sick. Hes got some unique tricks. I like it
I gotcha Travis. Jake looks like he has discovered the miracle of beer recently. Damn son where did that gut come from boy? You livin the good life or what?
shape looks really similar to ps3
Dude, that finger looked NASTY!! Good to see you get some exposure. Heal up fast.
Got it taken care of yesterday. Rebroke and reset and will be back on the water in 4 weeks. Pretty cool experience yesterday
Nice riding. Great style and love the new board!
