I am going to be picking up a new Mastercraft x-15 in two weeks. I wanted to get some input on what I should go over (besides everything) when I pick the boat up. Its my first new boat and my first interaction with the dealer. I think its important just to go over everything but I want to know what I really need to be looking out for. FYI I am going to water test the boat when I pick it up.

Bring your board/ski/foil/whatever &amp; ride behind it. Fill the ballast, drain it, drive it like your going to for the next 10 years. Turn everything on &amp; off. Check all the gauges. Check all the water hoses for leaks. Check the trailer brakes. Hook it to your own truck &amp; pull it. <BR> <BR>Tell the dealer you need a fire extinguisher &amp; some cheap orange vests. And some floaty keychains. Most dealers give that kind of stuff away.

Meet the store manager and the service manager. So you know who you are talking to. Dont be affraid to ask questions. Thats what the delivery is for. Push buttons if nothing happens ask why. The person running you out should be able to give you some close numbers on weighting the boat.ASK QUESTIONS IF YOU HAVE THEM
