Picked up a v215, time to wakesurf
Hello all, just bought an '09 v215 and am waiting for it to warm up enough in Wyoming to hit the lake. My wife and I are complete noobs to wakesurfing but have both done water sports since we were kids. I need to buy a board and have pretty much decided on a Triple X Nitro. I'm 5'11" (180) and my wife is 5'8" (125) but I'm leaning towards the 5' board because we are beginners and won't be throwing a huge wake behind the boat (I've got the stock ballast plus about 900 lbs in extra ballast). What think ye? Will I wish I had gone with the 4'8"?

I am 6' 200# and my wife and girls are 5'2-4 110 to 120 and we went 48" as a starter board. We are all new to the sport as we just got a new Sanger 237. Have fun with your new boat.

The more time you get to be riding, the faster you will progress. With a little board on a little wave you will spend a lot more time hanging on or falling. You won't wish you had a smaller board when you are learning. You'll spend much less time learning on a board that is easier to stay behind the boat on.

Welcome to the world of wakesurfing! Have fun with the new toy!
