Hey guys, new here. I just got a 82 ski supreme a few months ago. Im still having some engine problems though, more about that later.

I am in the southeast, lake eufaula, al. I was wondering what kind of prices you were paying to have a boat painted. Next year I would like to get it painted inside and out. Any ideas??

Thanks

Consider wrapping instead? It's expensive too, but you can do lots of cool stuff with it.

-Steve

the problem with the wraps is they don't last very long due to the harsh marine environment(lots of sun and obviously water). I was told 2-5 years and then it would need to be replaced. I think paint is the better option, unless you're advertising or something.

whats the price ona wrap?

dkjbama92mariah 05-24-2007 1:19 PM

It was $700 to repaint the red parts of mine. Done at Custom Marine Fiberglass in Muscle Shoals, AL. Pic is in my profile.

Some of those wraps are pretty cool!

My buddy does graphics and wraps for boat. He can also do vinyl #'s etc.. He's not the cheapest in town, but he uses the best materials (last alot longer then other wraps) and his graphics are some of the best in my opinion.

Here's one boat that he did. Before Picture.

After Pictures

Hit him up @ signfx@hillba nkusa.com His name is Dennis. If you want to see more just to get an idea of some of the graphics I can post them.

(Message edited by riverdave on May 24, 2007)

Haha, small world. That's Gary's boat from DBG (obviously) He's a good friend of mine. It's actually his old boat, he picked up a custom Kayot a few months ago. Agreed that your guy does great work on his wraps.

-Steve

What material is the wrap actually made from?
