Flexible bindings for pokes
In the upcoming off season I'm looking to put together a Slingshot wakeboard and binding package. I'm still new to wakeboarding and would like to tweak some of my grabs by maybe adding a little poke to them. Does the bindings ability to flex help in pokes and if so, are there any binding models you could suggest.
|
they're not slingshot, but liquid force ultras are the binding of choice for the king of pokes... ben greenwood if anyone didnt quite get that.
|
there are one or two models for every brand pretty much.
the ultras mentioned above will probably be on the most extreme end of the soft-to-stiff boot spectrum try looking at the ronix relick boots LF ultras, vantages, shanes Hyperlite Audio CWB Vapors i think they are called Slingshot P.B. Floyds there are others, but these give a good list to start from. go to the local store and try what they have to offer on inside the store and get a feel of what you like |
audios for sure. or JDs new kobalt boot
|
The 2009 Byerly Boa boots are about as flexible as it gets.
|
Byerly Boa bindings seem inexpensive. I've been seeing the Slingshot PB Floyd 2008 models on sale for $159...anything wrong with a newbie using these bindings even though they may not be the latest and greatest in features?

Company Vandalls are flexy and awesome bindings all the way around. Super comfy and hold great. With the velcro straps they are easy to get in and out of.

CWB Vapors.
Low cut. Nice and loose. |
