So after I've searched for a new board and done my research I ordered a 2006 CWB 141 Flame/Torq Combo which finally arived today, very exciting. I pulled out the board ready for a nice day on the lake to get through the heat wave. But to my disapointment I found that I recieved two left foot bindings. WTF?

that sucks, but its a fixable mistake...

wakeslife 07-15-2006 10:29 PM

Just suck it up, it shouldn't be that uncomfortable

Yeah I know it's not much of a problem. But I always seem to have my order f@%^&ed up from online in one way or another. So I'm trying to vent my anger.

And I thought stuff like that only happens to me!
And it always happens on the weekend when nothing is open.

Go into a wakeboard shop and buy your boards and bindings and that kinda stuff wont happen. (if you have one that is)

Josh i just order that same combo from Overton's yesterday, hopefully i get mine by Tues or Wed. That must be a popular combo becasue everywhere i called was sold out of them. Let me know how you Like it. Also where did you order it from?

yes like Jeff Baker said... If you would have purchased your setup from a local shop you would have undoubtably picked it up yourself and would have been able to pick up such an error, not to mention that in a shop you will have trained employees in wake equipment who would know how to set up a board better (of course) than an illegal immigrant setting up packages for an online dealer's factory

May have been harsh but im sorry for the ordeal and being an employee of a shop I would trust a shop more than any online distributor

mikel 07-16-2006 10:18 PM

Once again, it is mostly your local boardshops who are the internet shops that people buy from (other than overton's or bart's types). Any of the online guys who advertise here have bricks and mortar local shops. A shipping mistake can happen in any industry with any size shop, local or otherwise. Reid, totally ingnorant of you to comment regarding an illegal immigrant setting up packages for the online guys.

Mike

yeah I ordered off of buywake.com. It was here in about three days for normal shipping, plus I recieved a rope/handle for about 60.
