by no means am i rippin' on you or suggesting that i'm an expert w/ tilt-shift photography. fact is, i've never shot with it so you're way ahead of me. but, based on pics i've seen, i'm not quite sure the subjects you shot were good "fits" for tilt-shift lens. here are some ideas: http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2008...t-photography/

Fact is, I've never been interested in photography until maybe a month ago. I just bought a new DSLR mostly for video purposes, not stills. I'm just as new, if not newer to video than photography as well. |
So I've got a T2i with the kit lense, 18-55 and a 50mm F/1.8. Thinking about picking up a new wide angle, any recommendations?
Also having trouble finding a good setting to shoot wakesurfing at from the back of the boat, any goto shutter speeds/exposures? |

Been having too much fun riding midweek afternoons at Lake Oroville. This weather has been incredible. Got the wake dialed in with the help of 2 400 pound fat sacs +MLS +800 in lead +wedge. I'm 6'6 and the wake is nearly to my knees!
