Anyone ride at Alamo Lake in Western AZ? It seems rather remote & I'm wondering if there are any restrictions on the boats allowed out there?

I think it's rideable. There are two access points. One from Havasu side, and one from Alamo Rd. closer to kingman...kinda.

It's about a 1.5hr drive on a semi-washboardy gravel rd if you take the Alamo rd side....doable, but not enjoyable by any means. In a truck w/o a boat in tow you can cruise at about 50-70mph on it until it gets turny.

There's no ramp at that end either...land launch, and it might get muddy.

I dont think it's well marked, and there are ussually fisherman out there. I've never seen a wake boat, but I've only driven out there 2 or 3 times within the last 5 yrs pokin around doin some 4 wheelin.

I've never driven from the havasu end, so I dont know what the launch facilities are like. You would have the lake to yourself thats for sure.

If you're out in that area, there's some sections of river inbetween havasu and parker worth checkin out.

I'd say drive it sometime when you've got time to burn before you haul the boat out there...and I'm not possitive about the usage rules...but I doubt it's patrolled.
