migs 06-18-2007 10:45 AM

boats were ok to beach, 3 of us put on the snorkel gear and inspected the spot for the boats beforehand, all clay no rocks and stones. Pulled out the few that were in the area. More pics to come from my trip. Fisheye Films crew was doing all the photos, so as soon as i get them, ill share some.

lzyboy 06-18-2007 10:52 AM

Sick Pics !

We will be up there in 2 weeks & can't hardly wait. Did you guys move the HB daily or stick to one cove? Keep the pics coming!!!

ddutcher 06-18-2007 10:53 AM

I was there last week as well - it was our first trip and I have to agree it was a great week. Can't wait for next year. Did you see any Bears swimming while you were riding like we did?

entrustclothing 06-18-2007 11:26 AM

we were in the sac arm, by ski island and then the obrien inlet with the houseboatt

we rode in the pitt arm and sac arm as well. we were there 5 nights and moved the housboat 4 times, we stayed in a cove by ski island for 2 nights

peter_c 06-18-2007 11:35 AM

If you want to beach your boat at Shasta three stakes, along with plenty of springy anchor line type rope, and an old tire work GREAT!

What is the water temp?

Shasta ROCKS!

migs 06-18-2007 12:00 PM

water temp 75.

entrustclothing 06-18-2007 12:05 PM

water temp was 74-78

rapidridr33 06-18-2007 12:19 PM

gundogg 06-18-2007 12:26 PM

Nice Pics...You picked a great time to go and a great time to leave. Friday night when I got to my cabin it was fairly windy. Saturday afternoon was windy and Sunday all day from 6AM until 4PM when I left it was windy.

brad_m 06-19-2007 10:09 AM

Shane - Was that your wake in the surfing pictures? and are you using stock ballast? I'm in the market for a new boat and looking hard at the Mobious LSV. I'll have to look into that topless chick option.

entrustclothing 06-19-2007 10:18 AM

all of the surfing pics are behind my xlv, shane and have similar weight setups, we are bother running 750# sacs in the vdrive compartments and im running an 1100# sac in the bow since i have a playpen bow, we were running the front full, the back full and another 500# sac on the floor and like 8 people on the boat

(Message edited by entrustclothing on June 19, 2007)

shane97210 06-19-2007 10:32 AM

those pics are all behind sean's xlv, here is a coupole of pics of my surf wake with 750#'s in rear locker (replaced stock bag) 350 in ski locker, 350 tube on floor on surf side, and about 6 people

(Message edited by shane97210 on June 19, 2007)

entrustclothing 06-19-2007 10:45 AM

you should probably take that pic down

sunsport 06-19-2007 1:45 PM

Sean,
Was it more or less crowded then when you have been there in the past? We are going in 1 month. Actually some of the crew I ride with went down the same week as you.

shane97210 06-19-2007 2:01 PM

It was Sean's first time, but i have been going since i was a little kid. Weekend seemed less crowded, and midweek was normal. I'm going through withdrawls and not looking forward to 60degree water temp today on the Willamette.

entrustclothing 06-19-2007 2:15 PM

yes i was a shasta virgin

im not looking forward to putting on my wetsuit today

lcky275 06-19-2007 2:19 PM

How is that LF custom? is that the 4'10"?

entrustclothing 06-19-2007 2:34 PM

go check out the wakesurfing forum and there is a post where both shane and i have talked about it

sunsport 06-19-2007 4:38 PM

Sean/shane,
You guys ride on the upper Willamette around the Canby Ferry. It seems as though I have seen your boat out there. If we ride there go behind a Black Wakesetter with a carbon tower w/ integrated speakers. Just curious.

Skiing made me board,
Lyle
Chrome Dome

entrustclothing 06-19-2007 9:43 PM

lyle we do not ride in that area, we pretty much stick to the lower willamette, occasionally i will hit the upper willamette but i head up river from charbonneau when i do
