2013 Enzo wave

Is the 230 + and the 233 the same wave and why is it 10k different in price . Do they make a 240 + in 2013 the dealer I talked to was not sure. Is the 240 series a better wake then 230 series.

the 230+ and the 233 have some subtle differences is the wake. It mostly has to do with the orientation of the weight in the boat that has been changed by moving the windshield further forward. I don’t have a good reason for the 10K difference in price other than its the newest model so you are being charged a premium.

The 23x versus the 24x have a pretty big difference in wake size. The 244 is a deeper hull and a longer boat. More boat in the water= bigger wake for similar hulls. I get to ride a lot with the Inland surfer guys and Mac's new 233 wake is about 20% smaller than Mark's 244.

And sad to say i recently heard that they will not be making the 240+ anymore. They have not used the mold in almost 5 months. I would imagine that they are getting rid of the 240 to make room for a new mold in the shop ;).

The 233 and 244 have more room in the rear, I see them becoming the most popular and the 230, 230+, 240 and 240+ dropping off.

i had an 09 230. loved it, now have a new 244 and both boats have a killer wake. There is no comparision if you really like a lot of room in the cabin area. I really like the 244 space and the 233 has the same amount of cabin space as the 240+ cant go wrong with either. The plug n play replaces the older enzo sac so you have a few options as to how you may want to fill the boat. Its also nice if you still board( we do) so you dont have to guess with weight like the older sac. you will love the 233, but do some checking around, you can get a 244 for probably the same money.

In 2013, Centurion will make 230+ as a price point boat. The 240+ will no longer be made. Obviously, the 233/244 will be in production.

@trevor I heard the same thing from a long time 230 owner that loves that wake. The 233 has a different weight distribution and he felt he couldn't find the same wake. Maybe with more time to dial, who knows.

The new FX22 is supposed to be in the Enzo line. There is nothing on it at the Centurion site. What is up with this boat? How does or will it compare?

Has anyone dialed in a 233? Post up some pics/videos.

Ok, the 244 hull is slightly deeper than that of the 233. the major difference is the size of the 244 above the water line. A reason for the larger wake aside from being a foot longer is that of the additional weight. The standard weight of the boat being larger, plus the the fact that a 244 has a center ballast tank as well as the Pro Ballast bags are larger than that of the other Enzo models.

Here is a video of the a 233 with a someone riding it form a side view, it gives a much better perspective of the wake.

Great video, nice long wake.

Just to compare here is a video of my 230. A lightweight driver and one passenger. No lead in boat, no sacs on the seats or platform. Just a custom 1850# enzo sac and 350# counter balance sac under the starboard side seat behind the driver.

It is hard to tell, but there is very little difference between to the 230 and 233 wakes that are shown in this thread. The 230 has water running over the rub rail and the camera view makes to ass end of the boat appear to be deep in the water. Both wakes look good and appear to have a lot of push.
