A group of friends and I are looking to head to Nevada for some wakeboarding around the third week of march aka spring break. Any suggestions for lakes and what the temps are usually like? Thanx

What part of Nevada are you heading for? I live in Las Vegas and go out to Lake Mead. We were out yesterday, water was 60 degrees. The water won't warm up much until May or so. In late March, you're likely to get wind. Air temp can vary quite a bit that time of year, but it should be warming up by then, maybe even into the 80s if we're lucky. Lake Mojave is about another hour from Las Vegas, I haven't been there but would guess conditions are similar, it's not that far away. If you're heading to the Reno area, can't help you much except to say it's colder there than Vegas, but I've never been to any lakes in that area. Hope this helps, let me know if you have other questions!

I live in the Reno/Sparks area. Hopefully you are either going to the Vegas area at that time, or if not are planning on drysuits. There are at least 5 good lakes within an hour of my area, but they are still COLD in March.
