amo 06-01-2009 1:22 PM

There are no bleachers from what I can remember from last year, but there are grassy areas close to shore to sit on.

andy_nintzel 06-01-2009 1:45 PM

Yo AMO! Got your PM I will hit you up tonight with the deets!

99xstar 06-01-2009 1:53 PM

Thanks man.

amark 06-01-2009 5:11 PM

Is there going to be different levels of riding, like beginner, intermediate, advance, outlaw? or everyone just against everyone? Either way im gonna try and make it out to ride for sure!! totally stoked lol

amo 06-01-2009 5:27 PM

Andy, you get my email too about the boat?

ironj32 06-01-2009 5:47 PM

i assume there will be different skill levels.

tuneman 06-02-2009 2:43 PM

I posted this recent video link on my Epic thread, but thought some of you on this thread might want to watch. A few of us Minnesotans going off behind the Epic:

http://www.kneeboardworld.com/movies/Epic_session_1.wmv

tuneman 06-03-2009 1:24 PM

Anybody been on Medicine lately? Can you launch a wake boat or is it too shallow?

megatmoe 06-03-2009 2:00 PM

Ive never been on it because ive always heard it was like hell getting a wakeboat in and out of that lake. Anyone know whats up? Its really close to my work so I would love to use it.

justinlkgb 06-03-2009 2:58 PM

Sorry dude, no info. Lots of the lakes further south are low and full of weeds, but what else is new.

amo 06-03-2009 4:35 PM

If it doesn't rain in June, I'm going to be pulling my boat out of Forest Lake before August.

ren 06-03-2009 5:30 PM

I'm going to be in Minneapolis June 8, 9 & 10th. If anyone needs a third LMK.

ironj32 06-04-2009 4:36 AM

i haven't been there, but Medicine has to be super low at the launch (unless the dug it out like Owasso.

andy_nintzel 06-04-2009 5:53 AM

Jay,

Dude you got any interest in an Evening Sesh on Bald Eagle. We should use one of our rides as a chase boat. Then we are planning on pontoon and boozing till we all fall in the water.

nwarhol1105 06-04-2009 9:03 AM

Ninztel, I saw your boat getting pulled out last night...you throwing a new tower on that beast? You shoulda been riding man, that north end was buttttttta!!

wakemikey 06-04-2009 11:28 AM

Mississippi sure is warm now! Not too many boats out yet...

andy_nintzel 06-04-2009 12:00 PM

Nick, Yeah we rode on WBL. It was purdy Money. I pulled out to get the tower welded. But on my way Monster Called me and offered me a sponsorship! SCORE!!!!!!!!!!

wakemikey 06-04-2009 8:10 PM

So is the weather this weekend just going to SUCKKKKKKKK or what? What is going on with this cool start to summer? Frustrating.

(Message edited by wakemikey on June 04, 2009)

hockey9 06-04-2009 9:53 PM

Hey guys does anyone know around the Detroit lakes area if their having Wakefest 09? I believe its called that. We're thinking of crossing the boarder of states to hit up some Minnesota water and camping sometime.

nwarhol1105 06-04-2009 11:05 PM

Need a little help guys...

After our wake session this evening I hit a rock and messed up my prop pretty bad. I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations on where to get them repaired.

Thanks

ironj32 06-05-2009 4:19 AM

Bummer Nick. I know the feeling! This is one that I know of:
http://www.propmd.com/t-contact.aspx

You could also contact one of the local dealers (MWMC, MN Inboard, Forest Lake Power Sports) and they'll be able to help you out. They will most likely send it out to their "preferred shop".

etakk7 06-05-2009 7:11 AM

when I dinged up my OJ I sent it straight to them. - their prices vary depending on severity

andy_nintzel 06-05-2009 7:42 AM

WHAT EVER YOU DO WITH YOUR PROP dont take it to the Prop Shop in Hudson. They repaired an OJ prop I had once and Effed it up so bad. I sent it back to OJ and they were amazed that this company destroyed the prop so bad. It looked good it but it wasnt true, it shook so bad it felt like my boat was coming apart. Send it to OJ they will hook you up.

wakemikey 06-05-2009 8:55 AM

Jay thanks for the hookup on PropMD.com they look legit. I will give them my buiness in the future and in a river I'm sure it won't be too long...

nwarhol1105 06-05-2009 10:02 AM

Thanks for all the help. I'm gonna give Prop MD and OJ a call soon. I have to work for the next week straight so it happened at the perfect time.

Steer well clear of the 4 rock markers sticking out on the Northeast side of Bald Eagle...I was a good 100 yards away from the last one and got owned.

andy_nintzel 06-05-2009 10:38 AM

Nick Man I am sorry I should have warned you. YOu better much have to hug the opposite shore when you go through there, those rocks are nasty. There are 2 other bad spots. Down the shore from my Dock towards the ski course there is a Dock that Has a bright Lime Gree Supra on it, there are rocks about 150 yards off that dock. Down the other direction from my dock towards the lauch same shore line the second point has rock on it too maybe 100 yards off the shore.

amark 06-05-2009 11:36 AM

Could anyone hook me up with some directions as to where that comp at forest lake is on sat

amo 06-05-2009 11:57 AM

North on 35E. Take the Forest Lake Exit, take a right and you will literally dead end right in to the beach they are using for the comp. Park in the parking lot to the left of the turn about.

amark 06-05-2009 12:09 PM

Ahh nice thanks bro!

ironj32 06-05-2009 12:23 PM

the weather is looking CRAPPY for tomorrow! not sure i'm willing to pay $75 to ride in 48 deg temps w/ rain.

richmondrider 06-05-2009 2:28 PM

Anybody need fat sacks? I have 2 Launch pad 440's that were used for a season and a 680 with dual coolers new in box. Let me know!

ironj32 06-05-2009 2:29 PM

you giving them away? if so i'd take 'em! if not, how much you asking?

wakesurf12 06-05-2009 2:39 PM

I could always use more sacks! Same as Jay! How much? Free?

richmondrider 06-05-2009 3:00 PM

The price is FREE!!! I'll bring them with to Forest Lake tomorrow, I assume Jay will be there, not sure about Ryan. I'll let you two fight over who gets what!

ironj32 06-06-2009 7:11 AM

the comp is postponed due to the weather.
jake, i sent an email to the account listed in ur profile.

csswake3 06-06-2009 5:50 PM

Anybody ride on the Mississippi up by Champlin/Anoka around the 169 exit? I have never rode on the river wondering what its like as far as traffic and other boaters etc.

bull 06-06-2009 10:35 PM

Actually I've taken a couple props to to the place in Hudson and have never had a problem. One was the original stainless on my supra and the second was to repair my Acme 1235. Both were fixed perfectly so maybe OJ isn't their specialty?

All of my props have been ruined on Owasso, and as luck would have it I got another ding on my 1235 Friday morning. Even though they dug out the launch be careful - the giant rock berm is still there......

richmondrider 06-08-2009 9:28 AM

Anyone planning a trip to KC Watersports this summer? I would be in for a road trip!

wakemikey 06-08-2009 12:13 PM

MK Mississippi is my home water. It is a great place to ride. There are some other inboards out there but not too many. The boat launch there is just fine. Stay south of the 169 bridge and the river is dredged to 10-14ft down to the dam. Above the 169 bridge it is natural and you need to know where the channel is.

The water is much warmer and no weeds. Mostly sandy/rocky bottom. What are you driving? My 87 SunSport is in my profile I'm out every weekend, Tues and Thurs eve now too!!

(Message edited by wakemikey on June 08, 2009)

ethan31 06-08-2009 8:33 PM

Are there any food vendors at those events?
Will there be this year or was there any last year?

megatmoe 06-09-2009 2:06 PM

Anybody road tripping it out for the Pro Wakeboard Tour stop in WI??? I think ive got a car full going.

wakemikey 06-10-2009 8:58 AM

How about the WORLD WAKESURF CHAMPIONSHIPS 3 day event coming soon to MNPLS area!

etakk7 06-10-2009 9:39 AM

Is that for sure? I had read MPLS was a possibility, but have also read that the event has been postponed for 2009.

tuneman 06-10-2009 12:38 PM

Yeah, just a possibility for 2010:

http://forums.wakeoutlaws.com/index.php?autocom=blog&blogid=12&showentry =459

wakemikey 06-10-2009 2:46 PM

I thought I heard somewhere it was almost a done deal...

tcmercil 06-17-2009 11:53 AM

anyone heading to the PWT this weekend - - anyone know of any camping spots that are available? Was just kicking around the idea about taking off early on Friday and heading down....

jtlbp 06-17-2009 7:55 PM

any details on the contest in hutch this weekend as listed at the top of the thred? anyone going? is it at the park on the river? and have they rescheduled the first one on forest lake?

amark 06-17-2009 9:14 PM

Im going..i guess its on the river and jointed with the water carnival going on there....should be a good time..

snowboardcorey 06-18-2009 3:19 PM

I know back in the day the Hutch INT tourney was on the river, it was a pretty decent set up for viewing, I wanna say the water was a little shallow but its been so long I can't say that for sure.

dahmsy686 06-18-2009 4:39 PM

Hey MN guys,

Anyone know whats happend to Nisswa Marines Stock of Nautiques. I was on their site a little while ago and they had quite a few nautiques and a few supras and now they have nothing! I think i remember seeing an article in the paper where they were being sued by a financial companie but i didnt think they could get rid of their boats that fast.

flyspec14 06-18-2009 4:45 PM

I grew up in Hutchinson and the mighty Crow River is definitely shallow! It soo good to see a INT there though I can't tell ya.

We will have one of our customer's boats in the boat parade. We'll see if he has the restraint to keep the system down for the old folks ;)

tuneman 06-19-2009 6:17 AM

I remember the good ol' days of INT tourneys in Hutch. The river was so shallow that it caused a huge trough right before the wake. It launched me silly every time. Is it even deep enough right now? Seems like there's been a lack of rain.

tcmercil 06-19-2009 6:21 AM

Old INT tourneys in Hutch - I'm guessing there are quite a few of of us that remember that SHALLOW water, so shallow that you can stand in the middle of the river and have water at your chest.... I also remember riding behind a horrible Moomba there back in the day...

99xstar 06-24-2009 10:09 AM

Enjoyed the warm day yesterday. Thought I'd post a pic:

andy_nintzel 06-24-2009 11:41 AM

Cool Shot-

snowboardcorey 06-24-2009 1:04 PM

Dude that pic makes me want to go ride right NOW!!!

Word on the street is that Nisswa has filed for chapter 11. They are still open for business as far as I know but not sure if they still have the CC line. Best bet is to give them a call and get the skinny straight from them.

nick_in_ssp 06-24-2009 1:06 PM

I'm looking for a pull tomorrow anywhere in the Metro area in the afternoon. I'll have all my stuff and some gas money. 651 587 7433

mnkris 06-27-2009 9:33 AM

mnkris 06-27-2009 9:36 AM

nwarhol1105 06-27-2009 12:52 PM

megatmoe 06-27-2009 7:40 PM

Hey Warhol, were you out on the boat with me for the clinic with Ben Greenwood last year? For some reason your name sounds familar...

nwarhol1105 06-28-2009 12:36 AM

Nope, I was out of town last year for that clinic. Can't imagine there would be any other Warhol's that I'm unaware of shredding these days, haha.

nwarhol1105 06-28-2009 9:18 AM

Nintzel, when are you putting the Monster Tower on? We just missed you on friday...You were emptying the sacs when we were filling up. The lake was sooooo money!!

richmondrider 06-29-2009 5:06 AM

Sorry Kris, I already gave them away.

snowandwake 06-29-2009 11:43 PM

I'm heading to Lake Lida around the 4th and looking for a pull? I can help with gas, food, cleanup, driving and whatever. If there is anyone near that wants to shred let me know!
peaaccceee

andy_nintzel 06-30-2009 6:36 AM
