having an issue removing the old cable from underneath the floor. Everything is disconnected, problem is both ends of the cable are too big to fit thru the small hole in the front flooring} underneath the dash. Has anyone done this before? I could cut the old cable in half which would help with the removal, but the new cable will still not fit thru the small hole in the floor. Rear of the cable has the long metal shaft attached, and the front has the rack/gear assembly attached which cannot be removed. Any help???
