I live in northern Ontario Canada. I am looking for the best place to buy equipment online. Preferably a Canadian site so I can avoid any extra duties at the boarder. Or if you are a Canadian and have ordered from a site in the states what additional charges have you been hit with. Any help with this would be great as locally we have nothing.

I buy most of my equipment from Evo in Seattle. Also purchased from buywake, and Grizzly. Lot's of friends have bought from Evo As well. Any duty you will pay will still make the equipment cheaper then buying local unfortunately. If you buy online and ship to a local company in the US to pick up I find the Canadian border gurards won't charge you duty for anything under about $ 150.00. So, you can either go down twice or I have heard of people taking the email confirmation form the company and copying it in to word. From there I hear you can change the numbers to a lesser value and reprint the receipt. Also remember that shipping and any sales tax are not included in the declared amount.

There hasn't been doody on anything I've bought in the last 2 decades - only tax. I use this receiver : cbiusa.com. They are 2 minutes over the border from the casino. They will take anything frOm an envelope to boat. $5 per package and leave it there for a year if you want. Make a trip out of it and go to seductions while you are there.
Evo and buy wake have so much selection and are so much cheaper than here, you won't mind paying the tax. Just prInt your email for the man.
