There is a serious lack of Wakeboard boat Dealers where I live. The only close option (within 30 minutes) sells Mastercraft. Tige, Supra, Moomba, Malibu, etc. dealers are all 1 to 4 hours away. Obviously, service location and dealer reputation is an important part of the decision. Out of curiosity, just curious how far away is your dealer?

My Malibu dealer is about 2 hours away. So far it hasn't presented a problem since I do my own maintenance and haven't had a warrantee issue that needed the dealer's attention.
They have warranteed some minor parts which they sent me UPS. I then returned the defective part to them.
Overall I am confident I made the right decision. I have heard about nightmare stories regarding the dealer that is 1/2 hour away from me and would trust the dealer that is farther away to fix the problem (should it arise) without any hassles.

My dealer is within 10 miles but then the next one is 40 miles...that played a big role in my decision of which boat to buy this year.

2 hours. Set's up for a nightmare story, I have not had anything but good experience. Make sure they are aware you are driving a long distance and make sure the dealer lake tests your boat again after it has been prepped prior to taking delivery. Most high end wakeboard boats are built with high quality control programs that prevent most problems. Sure there will be some nasty posts on this thread, but for the most part I think you will find most are happy even when driving long distances.
