Anyone know about any boarding going on in the Lahaina, Kahului area? Going next year, wanted to know if there are any ski boat rentals, schools, or such.

There is a lot to do in Maui, wakeboarding isn't one of them. Go online and should find plenty of activities to keep you busy.

Yup, no legitimate wakeboarding in Maui. If you come to Oahu, I can hook you up with a pull.

Aloha!

you can rent a jetski between lahaina and kaanapoli, can you ride a skimboard?
learn to kiteboard, big scene there.....

No wakeboarding in Maui.....Go over to the Kahului side of the island, near Mama's fish house, and kiteboard till your arms fall off. It is one of the best places in the world to kiteboard. I was in Maui last week and there was about 100 jetskis on the water between Lahaina and Kaanapali. You wouldn't want to ride there.

Or you could go to Lahaina harbor and learn to surf.

Jeff, these people are all right. I was there at the end of May, and we did some surfing along Lahaina and Kahului but no wakeboarding since Maui is always windy. That's why kiteboarding there is such a hugh sport, along with windsurfing and surfing.
