Hello everyone! Me and my crew have been wakesurfing for almost a year now and have started to progress rather well. What I need help with is how to weight the boat for the best possible wake. We have tried a number of options, from solid movable weight, to people weight and we have had some monster wakes behind the boat, but we can't get anything consistent going. Like I said, we have tried numerous combo's to try and get it right, but as of now we just fill the port side ballast, half fill the belly ballast. On top of this factory ballast, what do I need to run weight wise, to keep the wake at a constant? I appreciate any help I can get in advance!

I also have an 08 SANTE 210 and would like to hear and maybe even see how others have weighted this boat for surfing!

I'VE ONLY SURFED BEHIND A 220, BUT IT MAY BE SIMILIAR. 700-800 LBS IN REAR LOCKER. 450 ON SIDE SEAT. 1000 LBS IN FRONT. BELLY ASLO FULL. <BR>THEY NEED ALOT OF BOW WEIGHT TO MAKE A GOOD WAVE. IT'S THE BEST WAVE I'VE EVER ROAD. ALSO HYDRO-GATE DOWN ON GOOFY AND UP ON REG. IT HELPS PUSH SPRAY OUT OF THE WAY. GOOD LUCK.

This fourm is from a long time ago but you should put an enzo sac in the back rear locker, nautique sac and put a 750 up front fill it up the back one depending on how many people you have on boared.

Here is our findings over the last year since this was originally posted. The Nautique 210 does throw a decent wave for its size, however there are some issues. To get the nice wave the boat has to be loaded to the point that water easily comes into the side vents and over the bow if not totally watching out for rollers. I don't mind driving it like this but my wife hates driving it this way and complains the whole time I want to ride. It takes the fun out of it for us. Not to mention there is a big secondary lip which interrupts the face of the wave. This is starboard side stock ballast full with 400 lbs sack on top of starboard tank and two people sitting on starboard sun pad. Here is what I am talking about.

Nice wave but notice the secondary lip.....

This picture was accidentally taken by my daughter and just happened to capture how close the vent is to the water. This is with less weight than I would like to run but the water gets in too easily to run more....

The 210 is a great boat if you are only a wakeboarder. We are in the process of selling it and getting a better surfing boat.
