I was going to go ahead and pick up a ZR60 on eBay this week, as they can be had for $250-260 all day long. Then I saw this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2988261082&cat egory=20330&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBWA%3AIT&r d=1

Is the ZR65mc worth the extra $40-50? What does "Refurbished by Canon USA" mean exactly? Is that a warning sign to stay away from this camcorder?

Thanks for the help.

Go on their website and check out the difference in features. to me refurbished means used but checked out well with a limited warranty. I've never had any major issues with refurbished goods.

It looks like the only major differences are the 20x zoom vs. 18x zoom and the compact flash card in the ZR65 that stores still photos taken by the camcorder.

Not sure if it's worth the extra $50 for these features - they don't seem all that important to me..

Thanks for the input on the refurbished items, Rich.
