We are almost there.....supposed to be mid 60's for tomorrow and maybe Thursday.....with unfortunate rain coming in this weekend...Our lake water is alot colder though....around mid 40's!!! But hopefully next week I will be braving it in only a full wetsuit! Oh well! I can't wait any longer!!! GO PA WINTERS! haha

I went out last friday on Lake Norman and the super air water temp gauge was at 58. I wore a shorty and was perfectly warm besides a few falls that submarined me head first.

Hey Dan I work down your way.....Ft. Meade area.....But I live up in Gettysburg @ a private lake called Lake Heritage.....Didn't think that many people wakeboarded in the tribs around the bay.......That's cool

just curious are there any specialty wakeboard shops around lake norman or are there just the general boat dealer ships? I know there is a wakeboard shop/boat dealer called the board room/carolina marine teams (something like that) are there any others?

hymaeringo 04-01-2005 10:40 AM

yea, There is a new malibu dealer off exit 28 that you can see from the highway if you are going north on 77 and also a Nautique dealer on exit 36 doolie rd. There is a specialty shop called charlotte waterski center that is on lake norman at holiday marina, below the rusty rudder but they recently partnered with the malibu dealership so all the merchandise is over at the dealer. butterface boardshop went outta business a few years back
