hayes 06-07-2008 7:08 AM

I'm in for the Spring2Summer contest. Anyone know what boat will pulling the event? I'm assuming X-star since Rambo is sponsoring the event.

xbones 06-07-2008 7:52 PM

Anybody have any pics of the rail we'll be on for the sesh Sat night at Spring2Summer? Just curious what it looks like.

jdj 06-07-2008 8:07 PM

How far is this from Monroeville, Al?

xbones 06-08-2008 8:37 AM

Monroeville is about 2 hours from Wetumpka where NWT is held. Probably puts you a good 4.5 hours from S2S at Guntersville.

rob_corum 06-09-2008 12:10 PM

X-star, loaded out fo sho.

The rail is a 65 foot up down rail tops out around 4 feet tall or so. There will be a 4 foot kicker as well. The up down is legit, I hit it the other day and the kicker will be perfect too.

rob_corum 06-09-2008 12:11 PM

John, If you don't show up..... your out!---- call me homes.
205-422-8052

trewblu 06-09-2008 1:26 PM

Im probably not going to get to go to any of them

jward10 06-09-2008 1:42 PM

Trew we need to get together and ride soon. Tell your dad to give me a call or just click on my name and shoot me a message. Give me a few days in advance and tell me what day you guys can come over and we will ride as much as you want.
Justin

trewblu 06-09-2008 1:44 PM

hey justin are you camping yet

hayes 06-09-2008 5:13 PM

I'm thinking about bringing my boat to the Spring2Summer. I saw the condos and was wondering if you can pull your boat up to the condos or if there were boat slips? Also, will there be good spots for viewing from the boat?

davidhep23 06-09-2008 7:14 PM

Can someone please explain exactly what the rules are between intermediate and advanced. Do you have to have at least 3 inverts and spins to compete advance or can you throw more than 3 of each? The divisions are a little unclear to me.

bamacpa 06-09-2008 7:29 PM

Intermediate up to one invert and one spin. Advance up to three inverts and three spins. What's unclear to me is if advance can throw 5s or limited to 3s. I would assume intermediate is limited to 3s.

jdizzle 06-10-2008 7:42 PM

Well all we have here in lake alfred is robs eight man water weeny that he left behind thanks a lot buddy

xbones 06-11-2008 7:47 AM

Intermediate is limited to 360s.

Advanced can spin beyond 360.

My question will be if you throw a 5 in intermediate will you be bumped to advanced or your 5 reduced to 3 for judging purposes? I have a toe 5 but I'm not even close to being good enough to truly compete in Advanced.

xbones 06-11-2008 7:52 AM

Ohhh and by the way...little man Ben Watts stuck his first tantrum yesterday morning He's also dialed in his HS/BS 3.

Watch out intermediate riders...you might see a 9 year old take the intermediate podium!!!

bamacpa 06-11-2008 8:36 AM

Wow. Congrats to Ben. How many hammers does he have now (tantrum, HS/BS 3, HS/FS 3, backroll, etc.)? Is he going to compete in the kids division or the intermediate division? Either way he should do well. Wish I could be there.

06-11-2008 1:09 PM

i'd bet since he competed in intermediate last year he'd do the same... that kid is legit for sure!

allen,
why aren't you guys coming? missin a good time!

bamacpa 06-11-2008 8:39 PM

Jessica, Blake is competing in the INT again this year. It's just too much to try to fit in. We really enjoyed the NWT last year and will miss it this year. The S2S sounds like a blast also.

bawllaoutacontrol 06-12-2008 10:19 AM

j-fries, why you askin about monroeville, AL? its where im from. That post just caught me off guard cause i think thats the first time anyone has known about monroeville other than me or someone who is from there.haha. im about 99.9% sure that im coming to guntersville. Only if Rob shows me how to throw some steeze on that rail.

rob_corum 06-12-2008 12:10 PM

Walt, Bring your boat for sure. You can pull it right up to the condos or put it in a slip. and there will be great viewing from the boat

rob_corum 06-12-2008 12:20 PM

We will have a riders meeting to clear any of the classifications and answer any questions you might have... These events are made to have a ball full of F-U-N.

and for you this Jdizzle guy, I don't even know you. so you can just shut your mouth when your talking to me. Why would you even have an eight man water weenie in the first place? Totally not my style dude.

the_love_muscle 06-12-2008 12:54 PM

Rob! What up? So did you move back to Alabama? I'm in Orlando now. Give me a shout if you're ever this way. I have a place on Clear Lake.

xbones 06-15-2008 11:43 AM

Congrats to Phil Aslinger for taking the Pro division at NWT this weekend.

Thanks to all who attended and big ups to Rob for chillin the the boat judging almost the entire day. The weather held out right up until the Pro Division winners were announced and then the bottom fell out Looking forward to next weekend at Guntersville.

vinnyp 06-16-2008 10:08 AM

Rob... maybe you should give this Jdizzle guy a break... maybe he is into water weenies. you never know... he could be a pro water weenie-er or something.

chad52 06-16-2008 12:54 PM

Rob,

Do you know if the plan is for all the boats to be tied up together in a big chain, or will everybody be basically hanging out on a dock somewhere with the boats docked? Most events end up with a massive boat chain. That's fine, I'm just trying to figure out what equipment to bring to tie up and also tell any stragglers going with me that if they miss the boat out, then they have a problem....

rob_corum 06-16-2008 2:46 PM

vinnyp, i heard you tried to be a pro-waterweenier but couldn't make the cut so now you call youself a "soul-weenier"

Chad, boat chain fo sho. Just let us know at the contest and we'll figure something out for the hangover-exaggerators to get them out on you're boat.

vinnyp 06-16-2008 4:13 PM

Rob, you are correct. I do suck at the 8 man weenie. i rock on the two man though. I will show you how its goes down at the camp trip over the 4th.

jdizzle 06-16-2008 7:45 PM

i just want to put this eight man water weenie thing to rest... it was Rob's eight man water weenie. matter of fact, it was his second eight man water weenie after he popped his first one. the dude just can't get enough 8 man water weenie in his life. that's why he is no longer welcomed in florida (unless it's to pick up his eight man water weenie he left on our lawn)

rob_corum 06-16-2008 7:54 PM

haha, it's all true.

jward10 06-16-2008 8:25 PM

JD why don't you bring that thing up to Guntersville this weekend and show us alabama boys how you guys in florida do it!

rob_corum 06-17-2008 7:34 AM

yea jd, prove it.

opossum 06-18-2008 7:24 AM

So how’s the weekend shapin up in Guntersville, I’m gonna try and get some of the DRock folks up for some riddin and shenanigans. Just wondering if anyone has a guess how the water patrol would be around the event and dealin with the boat chain.

As for the 8 man water weenie, I’d like to see if the Florida guys really do dominate it.

wkbdboi 06-18-2008 5:22 PM

what up Rob!! I will be there fo sho! it should be a fun event, Im pumped.

xbones 06-18-2008 5:26 PM

Hi Karen, I noticed you own/run Nelems Marina and I heard from a friend on the lake that yall sell lead weights and was wondering if you could hook me up if you had any? My place is right at the mouth of Rock creek so I can stop by the marina on saturday if you have any.

knelems 06-19-2008 12:19 PM

Hi Shaun,
Sorry I don't have any weights in stock, Tige use to offer those.I have a few fat sacks at the shop.

davidhep23 06-22-2008 5:16 PM

jrw160 06-22-2008 5:52 PM

phil aslinger won it

davidhep23 06-22-2008 6:25 PM

Did they step up the riding any today vs. yesterday?

rob_corum 06-23-2008 8:41 AM

Just want to thank everyone for showing up this weekend... we wern't expecting near that many competitors. Thanks so much for the support

mobv 06-23-2008 9:13 AM

Outlaw riding was very good - semi-finals a little better than finals, both were good. I'm Phil's dad so I remember his runs. Semi's Bat Wing, Skeezer, Tootsie Roll, Moby Dick, Switch HS OA 360, 911, Switch HS OA 720, Fall, Swith TS OA 900.

I don't remember all of Matt's run but he had a KGB, regular and switch Tootsie Rolls, HS and TS 540's,

Rob was a stylish spinning machine 180's, 540's, 360's,and a Bat Wing.

Taylor - really clean runs - 540's, Tootsie, Roll to Revert, scarecrow, tantrum, etc.

xbones 06-23-2008 12:50 PM

Sh*t went down Saturday night at the railjam. Big ups to Dustin and Jeremy for the support. That needs to happen at least once a month.

wakefactory 06-23-2008 1:45 PM

Yo, I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone that came. I we never thought so many people would show up. I also want to APOLOGIZE for all the trouble. The event had been planned for several months then the site tried to cancel everything friday morning.

It took the help of many riders and their families to pull it off and they did it. Again, THANK YOU!

We should have many pics on the website within the next couple days.

xbones 06-29-2008 8:22 AM

Pics are up on Wakefactory.net

trewblu 06-29-2008 8:34 PM
