I am considering purchasing a pair of PSO1's ('03 model) and just though I'd try to get some feedback on them first. Anyone that's riding them or has in the past please let me know your thoughts. I've heard it's a bit like being welded to your board. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing having had knee surgery a few months back.

Thanks in advance for the help!
I have the 03 AS01's... I love them... The lace ups, they take a bit longer to get into, but very comfortable. I know the AS are a pump system, and I'm not sure the diff to the PS, but they seem similar. True, not as easy to pull out of in a crash, but more of a custon fit, cuz they lace up.

The PS01's use a more conventional material for the heel and toe rubber. They are easier to get on and off but still really locked in. It is up to you whether you think that is a good thing after a bad knee.

Thanks for all the feedback. Anyone know how the foot bed padding is? Comfortable on landings?

cushy as hell bro. as far as getting stuck, rooks may have issues but you can get used to it. only time i have been hurt with bindings is when i came out so i don't want to come out crashing or not. they are dope because you can leave loose or tight and ride it how you like you know? do youself a favor and get a pair.
