where is the best place to get some sweet board shorts? I watch them on ebay but it seems like every boarder in the world has my waistline (36). Is there a cheap place online or something?

unfortunately, not one that I have found, especially if you want the name brands. What I do is check out PacSun and Quiet Flight, and occasionally, they'll have a sale where they'll get rid of some nice looking board shorts for $20-30, instead of the usual $45-55.

Go to www.killerdana.com, they have a ton of sweet boardshorts.

Tim, ebay is a great place to get shorts, you just have to shop in the off season. I get all my boardies off ebay in the late fall and winter. Usually end up paying around 15-20 a pair including shipping. Rip curl, quicksilver, billabong, rusty etc.

You should take a shopping trip to Austin. Almost all the good shorts I find on clearance are either 36 and above, or 28.

Chances of finding a killer deal on the good styles in 30, 32, and 34 are usually slim to none.

E-bay for sure. I'm in Cali, and I got a killer pair of Hurley's from Florida for $13 shipped.

(Message edited by grampawakerider on August 21, 2004)
