Was a good race as A1 normally is. I think this year will come down to how many times the speedsters(Stewart, Villopoto, Dungy) can get the holeshot or close to it. Stewart was buried so far in the pack at the first turn that by the time he cleared all the filler riders Villopoto had already checked out. It looked like Villopoto was getting tired at the end as Dungey and Stewart were a lot closer than they were a few laps back.

The stadium was more packed than I've ever seen it for a supercross event. They announced a sell out and I believe all the people were actually in attendance as opposed to just having the tickets sold.

I'm still in shock at how well the Seattle sports scene has been doing. First the Huskies, then the Hawks. Villopoto topped it off Saturday night with his win in opener. Thought for minute Bubba might actually pull it off but he was just too far back.

Bubbas cornering abilities are fricken off the hook. Hes taken it to a new level!

Such a great race. cant wait to see what happens this season. Hope to see Canard to very well
