Surface mount LED

I would like to mount a couple LED lights on my tower to face downward onto the floor of the boat. Any suggestions?

I did this on a past boat. Just buy one of those little 3 light pods. They are pretty unnoticeable and install will look very clean.

I was also thinking of doing this what brand light did you use

www.oznium.com
www.superbrightleds.com

I've bought LED's from both of those places and they've been pretty decent.

Another option is the pods from Custom Dynamics. They have a 5-light pod that's pretty bright. I was gonna add 8 of those to my built-in melter.

Just an fyi, I have had very bad luck with these cheap plastic computer case leds shown in the picture posted above. After replacing one twice in one season I bought some of the ones they use in Malibu's from Bakes. They are now available elsewhere for cheaper, I don't remember where I saw them but they are the ones with the little stainless collar that mounts them sideways or straight out.

That's good to know... Thanks Mike.
