I just have a quick question if you ride fully weighted on your malibu how long do you ride your wake rope and at that length are you closer to where the boat prop makes the bubbles or are you closer to the mush. and what speed do you ride at <BR> <BR>thanks i know its a wierd question but this will help me out alot

I ride mine at 80 feet at 22.6mph. Thats with full ballast, wedge and a 750lb center sack.

I ride at 75 feet at 22.6. Full ballast, wedge and lots of people. Also its an 06 vlx.

What is "mush"?length and speed depends on the rider... if your not clearing the wake, move the line in or stop slowing at the wake(take a progressive edge into it) You should never be around the "mush"

on my friends 06 VLX with about 3000 pounds of ballast i ride 75 or 80(forgot which one the rope is set at) but at 23.8.

factory ballast with about 5 people in the boat usually...75 feet and 22.5 mph

03 wakesetter. 80foot rope 24.5mph full ballast plus wedge.

06 vlx, 4 ballast tanks full 1000lb bag up front 300s in the locker 300 in the lounge, 4 people 85ft at 25.5

we ride between 75 and 80 feet back at between 23.2 and 24 for most people. Full ballast, no wedge, 400 extra in lead in the nose and another 1000 in the raar (500+ per trunk)

06 vride/old vlx...1500-2500lbs of ballast and 65' to 80' of rope and anywhere from 23-25.5mph

i compete behind the new 08 malibu's and i ride at 75 out at 24.5-25 its a little fast but much more hang time in the air
