Wasn't Tino's very first tour stop win the first pro tournament he ever entered? I remember watching that stop on TV and I remember him absolutely killing it. But I think that was his first pro event as well. Thats pretty badass if that was the case. Has anyone else taken first in their very first tournament on the pro tour?

Tino won Kelowna as a Rookie in 2003, but I'm pretty sure it wasen't his first pro contest.

It took some searching, but I found it. Tino did win his first pro tournament, but it was the U.S. Open at the end of 2002 when he competed most of the year as a Jr. Men rider. Here is the article...

http://www.wakeworld.com/news/2002/usawaterski8.asp

I'm going to add that danny hampson won his first pro tour event in 2003 at detroit, and that was his first professional event. HOLLA!

way to do your homework David, haha. Pretty crazy though to be a challenger and beat out the top riders in the world.
