It looks just like it is faded with the sun but when you scratch it with your fingernail the black shows through again. <BR> <BR>What type of cleaning fluid should I use to clean this stuff off?

it maybe pvc from your trailer guides that bump you into place. If that is it. use a dry towel and elbow grease rub in all directions then peel it off the towel. That was what was on mine. worked good.

I had that from the white writing on my trailer guides. I had to use goof off but be careful with the stuff.

hey aaron....I was told to use acetone on my white rub rails that had yellow.....cleaned them right up....not sure about black thou...good luck

I've always used steel wool with a very light hand. This is on black. It takes everything off and leaves the surface very smooth. This will also take off any scratches or light gouges. <BR> <BR>
