Laptop batteries
 

Does anyone have a good lead on affordable laptop batteries? Mine needs to be replaced and I can't believe they are $90-$100. If it matters I have a Compaq CQ 60.

Have you checked Ebay?

I went through some OEM battery source for my first replacement laptop battery. Overpaid big time. For some reason, I had a brain fart, saw a video on Youtube and decided to "build" my second battery. What a waste. I then checked out ebay, bought a replacement battery and charger from a reputable ebayer and at a decent price. Very pleased with the performance. The charger is lighter than the original Dell, so it must not be quite as good, but it works fine.

eBay for sure...just make sure their feedback is good...I bought an aftermarket battery for my laptop for super cheap and it works great...no problems what-so-ever.
