Any DoubleUP dealers in SoCal? Which shop(s)?
I take it you decided to take that job Joe?
Hi Joe,
I'm sure you are glad to be back in SoCal.I haven't seen you post lately,I was wondering what happened to you.
Chad, 99% sure.

Hi Karen! Long time no talk. Yeah, I'll be glad to be back in the sun. Really though, I've been having a blast here in Seattle.

I think California Correct Craft carries the DUPs.
double ups? isn't that what you drive in a boat?

Double Up is also a wakeboard brand that is not big in San Diego. I don't know of any local stores who carry them.
Sounds like I'm gonna have to bring some down for you guys to try!

I was at California Correct Craft a couple months ago and was talking with one of the guys there and he told me he isn't planning on carrying DUP this year due to the chnage in management. My local shop (SBI in Fresno) doesn't even carry wakeboard stuff any more, which is sad. I'll probably have to go up to Stockton or Sacramento to get a new DUP this year.

Pete

Water Ski World had Double Up at the boat show.
Dave, Water Ski World of Santa Ana?
Dave,

Does Tyler know you were hanging around Pat's booth at the boat show?
I think he was talking about Waterski World in San Diego. I thought he only carried Connelly and Blindside, but I also haven't been there in years.

(Message edited by canaday on January 22, 2004)

Pat Kennelly(sp?)?
We here at CCC dont currently carry Double Up. But I saw the 04 line and it looked good. So that is not to saw that we wont carry it. There does not seem to be a large demand for it here in So Cal. I get more questions about Blindside and Gator then I do about Dub Up.
Yep, that's the Pat
Waterski World San Diego does have Double Up, but nothing new. (atleast at the time)
(I appologise, I only went in there once out of curiosity)

(Message edited by kristian on January 22, 2004)

Water Ski World used to be cool. Tyler who owns Wakesports used to manage their So-Cal (SD & OC) stores. I worked there(OC) when he still managed, it was great. I wonder why he doesn't deal with DU, seems like he would. Since D-Up & BlindSide are both owned by triton watersports and Waterski world has carried Blindside forever(Pat was friends with Denny Kidder who owned KD & Blindside) it's not surprising that they carry them. Oh yeah and Pat is a jerk, he intimidated me through the whole interview, if not for Tyler he probably would have told me to get the hell out.
Yeah, Pat's sort of a hardass, but, he gets the job done. I helped him set up for the Sacramento boat show a couple years ago. The number of people that knew him and approached him and basically treated him like God was amazing.

And yeah, he's kind of Old School...will stick w/ KD until the day he dies.
