what board should i pick
 
hey,guysand girls, i was hoping for some insight on a new board as i have out grown my old one, iam 140 lbs ,and im about 5'4 ft tall, i am looking for a board that is light weight has lots of pop and is very resposive,do you have any ideas?

i would suggest somthing in the 134-138 cm range.

unfortunately there are a lot of boards that can be described as having lots of pop and being responsive. it is also kind of a subjective thing.

if you are looking for a more aggressive pop that will tend to send you more up than out look for 3 stage rocker boards. continuous rocker boards have good pop too, just a different kind. they generate a bit more speed and pop off the wake with a bit more "predictable" of an arc that is less steep as compared to 3 stage. And then there are all sorts of rocker patterns that fit in between for a blend of both worlds. rockers such as "hybrid rocker" or "subtle 3 stage" etc.

personally i enjoy boards with significant flex features, such as slingshots boards. ironically one of them is named the "response." the way the boards are made makes them pretty light too, especially the swing weight or how light the board "feels" while riding.

best tip anyone could give though, is the common cliche -->> go demo a couple of boards to see what YOU like
