The Bump Party
 

Seeing as how well the Audio over Cat 5 has worked for us. Ryan and I have come up with a wire guide for people wanting to wire your boat for Cat 5 audio signal. We are hoping this wire color guide will or could become some kind of standard. This way people from all over could pre wire your boats to share a signal threw Cat 5 no matter where your from. We are trying promote sharing a signal threw RCA's or Cat 5 Kind of like how Dave has the "No Power Turns" thing going. Eventually I hope that somone in the industry takes this Idea and makes a unit that send's and recieves a digital audio signal so we do have to run wires to share a signal. Im sure that's comming but for now we will have to rock the Cat 5. If you haven't heard what 30 or 40 boat's all rocking to the same Audio source sounds like your missing out. It's Awesome.

Forsty: Ryan has made a Cat 5 Audio Control box that holds the BLX 10 and a wire strain relief.
I get him to post some pic's of what he has and the wire lay out.

Nick, G from Ghetto House is gonna be spinning at Bump. Stoked to hear what everyone set sounds like. Last Bump was a great Mix of Club and House. With so many diffrent DJ's The music changed styles so often It didnt feel like you were hearing the same song or style all day long.

We are gonna record at Bump this year so we should have 12+ Hrs of House and Club Music.

wow this bump party has grown! Way to go Grant! I still remember the first one where the hotel was shaking for 48 hours. I don't know how many more of these bump parties the foundation of that old hotel can take.

G$krilla, You are 2nd on the list, I might have one for you but for now I might not. There is still plenty of signal for everybody, we can do RCA's to 3-5 boats from each BLX10. I run my BLX10 into my WS420 then out to other boats. The signal is pretty hot so even the boats at the end of the line are probably seeing 2-3 volts.

Definetly a great event! So cool to hang out with a ton of other boats and everyone rocking the same tunes. Sounds like Grant has really stepped things up this time and and I'm sure this event will be better than ever!!

I have heard unconfirmed reports that making a special guest appearance at bump will be none other then LON!!! Is this true Grant?

The Docks at Bump Have been sold out for Week's Now. There are no more dock space's Left.
We are gonna make a tie up Line and try and fit as many boats as we can. You cant just show up with your boat and be part of the event. You must register for a spot to be part of the party. You can come by land no problem and you can park your boat on another dock across the way. But if you want to have your boat in the Marina you must be part of the event and you need to register to do that. Email me your Name phone number and Ill send you the event information and put you on the list.

any update on 320 kpbs?

Gerry Roberts told me he made the mix in lower quality so it could be downloaded fast. He dosen't have a 320 version. We are gonna record the Bump event 12+ hrs of music for download. Or Email Gerry from his website he might have somthing else you might want.
"TIP: Remember to be nice when you ask for free music " people have a tendancy to DELETE e-mails saying "Hey got any free mix's for me" LOL

We are packing up and heading out, Chucktronics Crew is gonna be running cat 5 in the morning and we should have the docks live by 12.
Random Nights says they have over 1000 people on the Guest list. And all the Cabanas are sold out. The Hotel is packed and the docks are full. Super excited for this weekend seems like every one is gonna be there. Ill try and post some picks from the event. If you comming out bring your Cam.
Hey if you wanna come out to the event and bring your boat, YOU HAVE to register. There is no more dock space. There is a tie up line but unless you register by tomarrow its to late.
