CTRL Blueprint vs Ronix Phoenix Project

I am in the market for a cable wakeboard. I am currently deciding between the 2012 Ronix Phoenix and the 2012 CTRL Blueprint. Could anyone give me some insight on these boards?

I wore my CTRL RX down to the foam in only 3 months. Don't really recommend a non grind base for the cable unless they are cheap throwaway boards. CTRL has spouts some crap in their description that says they don't need a grind base. That's because once you bought it they don't need a grind base on your board, you do.

Quote:

We don’t use or need the typical grind or jib base. No 4 letter base materials here, you industry peeps know what I’m talking about. Instead, hell, why not just build boards that straight up perform and hold up to some abuse. Putting a band-aid bottom on a board so that the rail can fail or the board can break, what is the point? With Flak, our lowest end boards with a simpler base construction will hold up as well as these Grind or Jib Base boards and believe me we are just getting started on those.

Cable park wakeboard

Slingshot shredtown is a great cable park board. The wood will not deteriorate or break under heavy riding conditions. Bart's water sports gave me the best price and I will not ride another board in the park or wake!

Would Ronix boots work on a Slingshot board?
