One Armed Wakeboarder Lands Backroll

Very cool

http://wakeboardingmag.com/videos/20...s-a-back-roll/

Watch Mike Krohn, a one-armed wakeboarder from Westmont, Illinois, land his first back roll since losing his left arm in a PWC accident in 1998.

Mike has a pretty incredible story. Ten years after his accident, Mike started training with wakeboarding legend Darin Shapiro at Ride The Spot, Shapiro’s Orlando, Florida, wakeboard camp, and the pair have worked on this back roll for two years. So what’s next?

“I have been working on a switch toeside single wake to blind, which is like a one-armed 3,” Mike says. “I’m going to start working on a scarecrow tomorrow.”

Old news.... I heard this guy Billy Tonis does the biggest one armed backrolls in the world. Also known for giant cab rolls and the ever illusive one-arm scare crow. It's still up for debate, but I believe he actually could be the second most interesting man in the world.

Just kidding. Right on, Mike. Stay with it. Maybe give Billy a run for his money in the extremity games next year.
