Handle and Vest?
Need help picking out a handle/rope and a vest. Where i'm at, comp vest aren't necessary. We don't have comps and the G&F love to pass those tickets out here. I want one that isn't poofy, or 200 dollars. A good affordable vest that is thin.
Also, Handle. I currently have a Ronix (don't know the model). Its a thick handle covered with a cloth fabric. It grips good but i hate the thick handle. . Are the Prolines any good? They seem fair priced. roughly 70-80$. Or any other recommendations? Thanks all |
Proline LG handle is what most people seem to like but I can't find it without the line. The newer lg 3d's or LGS's don't look as grippy to me but i haven't tried them.
http://www.buywake.com/wakeboard-rop...neon-green.htm For a USCG vest the slimmest/most flexible would this year's or last years Liquid Force Watson or a Ronix Capella. Pretty expensive but occasionally you can find them on sale. |
I was in the market for a new handle for a while, and I tried a bunch until I found the Proline LG. It is an extremely popular handle and I can see why. everything about it just feels right.
I just picked up a combo from Dicks sporting goods for a decent price and I'm stoked http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/pr...uctId=11161618 |
I got myself one of these. $45 at Costco, same one, but different color that HO Pursuit that sells for $70 directly from HO.
http://www.costco.com/HO-Sports-Men'...100027877.html They also have Womens ($45), Boys, and Girls($29) versions http://www.costco.com/HO-Sports-Wome...100027864.html http://www.costco.com/HO-Sports-Chil...100027888.html http://www.costco.com/HO-Sports-Chil...100027860.html Works great for me. A lot more comfortable and flexible than my previous HO one that was equivelant to it when it was new, that was about 10-15 years old. They have come a long way in design since then. |
