Anyone else seen it? i just happen to stumble across this pic on another site and cant find anymore. looks pretty damn sweet!

08-06-2012 7:31 PM

Thats sick!

timmyb 08-06-2012 7:33 PM

Nicely done! What's the side look like?

jrich 08-06-2012 7:38 PM

not sure. this was the only pic i could find. im assuming it would be a wrap.

ironj32 08-07-2012 4:33 AM

Hmm...looks like they were able to get the windshield vents without have the "design package".

boomshot 08-07-2012 5:26 AM

They need to stop showing the green & black and the blue & black G23 so that people will realize that they are building more boats than the 2-3 prototypes. This just looks like the original one with some stickers. What's the big deal?

08-07-2012 5:35 AM

The original one belongs to kyle rattray now. I think the green/black and blue ones are the sharpest of the bunch. Ive seen red & orange ones out.

mhunter 08-07-2012 5:39 AM

Hows this?

http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/n...hunter/G23.jpg

Mahoney86 08-07-2012 5:47 AM

That white and organge would be my pick... I still cant get over just how all of a boat those G23s are, freakin awesome

boomshot 08-07-2012 6:03 AM

I saw that orange one last month on PlanetNautique and it is by far my favorite one.
I would like to see an all-white one but this orange gray one is crazy, just CRAZY awesome.
So anyway, they should show more variants, you get the point.
Orange G23 is awesome G23.

Just saw this on CC page, after seeing the side view now, I think that wrap could have been alot better. I think the stock graphic is better.

wakecumberland 08-07-2012 8:00 AM

That trailer looks way too small for the boat. Needs steps behind the fenders

Looks exactly like the other ramlin trailer i saw on a green one. Boatmate looks like the best looking trailer for it. Also you'd think you've have guide posts as well if you cant spot the trailer over the huge bow on steep ramps

I agree completely. I even mentioned it on nautiques Facebook page. A monster edition should be off the wall. Wrap could have looked so much better. Wish they would let me design one for them

Jeff Rowland - Hygh Octane Graphics

Mahoney86 08-07-2012 8:13 AM

Not very Monster edition like... That is deffinitely the most qoute energy drink wrap ive ever seen

migs 08-07-2012 8:32 AM

wrap could have been better - no doubt.
Still the baddest thing on the water right now. id take that thing with pink polkadots on it.

petrey10 08-07-2012 9:37 AM

wow crazy nice....... love the idea of the walkthru from platform to cockpit that would save a lot of headaches imo......

100k is pretty steep tho

100k for what? Suggesting you can actually get a G for 100k out the door??? Anyone care to enlighten me because I doubt that's possible...

Saw a grey/black G23 on Adirondack Marines FB, looked pretty nice, low key but classy.

08-07-2012 9:57 AM

No its not possible.

alevitt 08-07-2012 11:55 AM

Hey guys, I shot the two photos of the Monster g23 with my phone. I have ton of other shots from my dslr, but I'm not ok my laptop for another couple of hours. Will forward ASAP.
I have to say this is the sickest boat I've been in; the attention to detail is insane.
And the low quality, backlit iPhone side profile shot doesnt show any of the detail in the aft black section of the wrap. It looks good

Mahoney86 08-07-2012 11:57 AM

I can see the light green veins int the black part thats it... maybe once your post from laptop well see what it really looks like

tdc_worm 08-07-2012 2:20 PM

"woah"---dont believe that is a word. maybe monster should have used spell checker, hahaha...

boomshot 08-07-2012 2:55 PM

Let's see the rest of Harf's boat please

08-07-2012 4:08 PM

Just a mere $275 fill up where I'm at. I guess if you can afford a $125k boat you can also afford the gas...

gti2lo 08-07-2012 5:27 PM

That g23 is up in muskoka doing some shoots for monster and their riders before wakestock this weekend

Compared to a "classic" wakeboard boat it's alot of fuel.

I'm pretty sure the bottom one is a G25.

Thats a different boat than the one you posted above :)

wakebordr11 08-09-2012 5:04 AM

^ Bingo!

All look nice though! Man I'd love to be able to afford a G - or a 2002 SANTE with a GT-40 with a lake to use it every night on... damn...

boomshot 08-09-2012 5:09 AM

3 axles for the G25 trailer?

Swag.

That is a completley different argument all together....and one I certainly agree with you on.

haha. and we should divide this forum in to separate forums:

1) boats, accessories & tow vehicle optimization and
2) wake-blinging, looking cool, and how to finance your $130k wakeboat for 20 years

TroyD 08-09-2012 2:27 PM

My quotes for a G23 fully loaded and XStar loaded minus power tower were 15K apart. Had I added the power tower to the MC it would have been 20K more. I know one is a 23 footer and one is a 24 footer....but I didn't expect that.

Similar power plant?

mhunter 08-09-2012 3:00 PM

Is it really a 24' since the first 22'' is useless forks?

22vdrive 08-09-2012 5:28 PM

Such a sweet boat my fav by far love that boarding ladder on the trailer what a great idea! I need to weld one on the my trailer!

You didn't think the name, hype and girls came for free, did you??

In all seriousness, you're right though, one flagship vs another, 20k difference? You could buy a lil 2000 SAN 210 to have as your dingy for the price difference!

wakebordr11 08-09-2012 6:39 PM

BTW, OP, where are the HQ DSLR pix you promised?

migs 08-09-2012 7:20 PM

^^^^ nay meen

alevitt 08-09-2012 8:22 PM

Hey WW'ers. Sorry for the delay on getting the pics posted. I'm trying to get all the details sorted for Wakestock and haven't had any spare time.
A couple more points about the boat. The wrap wasn't done by Nautique: it was designed in house by Monster Energy Canada (the owners of the boat) and the wrap was applied by Sublime Graphics in Bracebridge, Ontario.
I was also told tonight by the Nautique crew up at Wakestock that the Nautique Super Air logo still needs to be placed on the boat. I'm assuming it will go towards the aft in the black part of the wrap.
I'll try to get those photos posted, but it probably won't be until Monday after the event.

Cheers

migs 08-09-2012 8:29 PM

MONDAY!!!!!!!??????????
Insert sloppy arms.

Both with the 550. The Nautique dealer pretty much told me you had to have it with the G, especially if you plan on adding weight.

I thought the G would have been more.

Don't be fooled by your dealer. The 450 is a perfectly acceptable engine in the G23. I have the 450 in mine, and I run full factory ballast, plus another 2200 pounds. If you try to do more weight than that, you don't really see any additional benefits. Granted it will take a few more seconds to get on plain vs the 550, but it'll save you about $14k. If the $14k doesn't matter, then get the 550 and have some fun :D ! Either way, I'd definitely recommend demoing the 450 though.

wakebordr11 08-16-2012 12:13 PM

I've never had a double up fall hurt more than a regular fall... When you're good enough to boot that high, the falls don't always get harder when you know how to fall

migs 08-16-2012 1:17 PM

hope to god youre landing on the tranny.
