Yeah, not a big fan of the Ed Hardy lookin wraps either. Im even getting tired of mine and am ready to get rid of it after the first year! Just gotta figure out what to do next since I ripped the stock ones off!

Most of those are direct rip offs of Christian Audigier lines Ed Hardy and Von Dutch.

what is the deal with skulls and wraps, arent there any other cool designs that doesnt involve skulls or dragons or stupid eyeballs?

Can't wait for the skulls to die out, again. No offense but those are all fugly. The redbull rogue status is the only one I liked.

If I won the lotto, the first thing I would do would probably be to buy a 2010 X-Star, switch all the speakers to Wet Sounds, and then wrap it like this, probably in blue/white/black.:

I would take a solid black or solid white hull over a wrap any day.
The eyeball wrap boat has to be just about the ugliest, most gaudy looking boat I have ever seen.
I'd get my face tattooed before I did that to my boat.

gotta love when people come on here and bash pictures of yours/other peoples boats.:( i'd take anyone of the boats featured in this thread.

I'd TAKE anyone of them too...but I would not spend money on any of them! I think that is what most are saying...except for maybe the one ryan posted...not bad

+1 Jay - I have never understood why people have to bash on other people's boats. I am pretty sure most on here would love to have any one of those boats.

Yep, i like the pic that Ryan threw up there... the rest look to busy to me. Now if someone wanted to give me one of those boats.... well i'd just have to live with it lol :)

A few thoughts:

1) It is all personal preference. personally, I would not want any of those wraps on my boat but I can appreciate them on somebody elses boat. If we all liked the same thing, all our boats would be the same and that would be really booring.

2) I like the last pic Ryan posted the best out of all the wraps.

3) In the very first pic the boat has brown vinyl. Man, that has got to be hot during the summer. I bet you can fry an egg on that. ouch!

The X-star with the Tatoo wrap that was at the toronto supercross is a sold unit... going to be neat to see it on the water!

i am up in the air on wraps. some are hot and some are for sure not. i do not like the ed hardy look but i am sure others do. i do think they are a great way to change up your boat after it gets a couple years on it. i do not think you should order a new boat with a wrap but thats just me. i will say that i give props to anyone that designs and installs wraps on boats or anything for that matter because it takes some raw talent and i do appreciate talent in any form.

The problem with wraps is that, unless you are going to keep your boat for a looooong time, it may end up being harder to sell it because the designs I've seen have such "love/hate" potential. I'll probably just end up sticking with solid black or white.

The wraps I'd like to see would be:
Snow Camo
Spaghetti
A night sky shot with just stars and a black background
Shaggy dog hair
The solid pattern of a disco ball
Black and white pinup girls (like from the old school jet pilot "lady love" board shorts"
Snake skin
a huge section of a record - where section of the record's lable takes up the back side of the boat saying "mastercraft" or "malibu" etc. as the artist and the whole rest of the boat is the grooves on a solid black record.

Just some ideas.

Well, the point is how many people would drop 100k on one of those boats.
