I ran across this video on how to fix gel coat. Looks like wouldn't be very hard, (a lot of things aren't hard if you know what you are doing.) <BR> <BR>Fortunately I don't have any need for it right now <BR>but after the season is over who knows, s--t happens! <BR> <BR>I have never tried to fix the gel coat, but I know several people out their with issues so this might be worthwhile. <BR> <BR>If you have done this yourself then please let the rest of us know if the process is as easy as the video shows. <BR> <BR>Video on gel coats are at bottom of page. <BR> <BR><a href="http://www.tapplastics.com/info/video.php" target="_blank">http://www.tapplastics.com/info/video.php</a>

I didn't take the time to watch the video but yes, gelcoat work is suprisingly easy. I had never done a lick of it in my life before this winter and I fixed all my spider cracks and holes from an old tower. You can't tell there was ever any holes and it was ridiculously easy. My boat is all white but as long as you get your color matched at your marine store it's cake.
