how's this ronix rope? lookin at buyin
|
Personally, I'm done with Ronix handles. Every single one I've owned has fallen part far too quickly. Especially the chamois style the one u listed. I would go with a accurate, or maybe throw a new company a bone and try phalanx.

Accurate made most of ronix's handles. The problem with wakeboard handles is there is no wakeboard specific brand. Theyre all made by ski rope company's who don't really care about wakeboarding they just know the money's there so they make em. So skiers get the made in USA good stuff and us boarders get the Chinese made crap

Honestly that rope would do you fine but might be a pain with tangling. Its a price difference but I came from an older style Viper line (similar to the one you posted) and went for this ronix one - http://www.evo.com/ropes/ronix-r8-80...Blue_Image.jpg
I really like it. The plastic makes it great for sliding through your handles. It coils up nicely. Since its plastic code the hot sun makes it even for pliable too. My 2 cents :) In case you are wondering about handles this is the one I bought http://www.evo.com/handles/ronix-one...dRed_Image.jpg I like the grip on your hands and I also bought 2 of the interchangeable ones. Honestly, i'm not super happy with it. Another thing I didn't think about when I ordered it was that it could damage your board since the ends are hard. |
If you find any you like @ www.perfski.com, call Performance and tell them Kat Laird sent you...they MIGHT be able do a little better than the advertised price.
