2010 board
im picking between the
Byerly 2010 Monarch 54 (137) and the Hyperlite 2010 B-Side 136 I ride cable so I need something sturdy. I really like the Monarch but Im afraid that it might not last that long cuz it isnt made out of molded in ABS fins. Thats why Im also leaning towards the Bside Does anyone ride these two boards? any suggestions? Oh, and i currently ride a Gator Luna 134...will going up to a 136/137 make it harder for me or easier? |
do yourself a favor and get a company or slingshot board. strong, flexy, made in usa

how much do you weigh and how tall are you? Iwouldn't recommend either board from a durability stand point.if you are going to ride cable specifically. you want a cable/slider board. cwb, liquid force, ronix, slingshot ,hyperlite and company all make these boards for cable.sliders can tear up a board in one summer.

Im 5''7 and 120 lbs.
But wont the BSide last? Its JD Webbs board and he's wild on the rails. |
I agree. I switched from the Marek to the bside this season, and love it. Feels faster and more responsive. Also the center spine doesnt run the full length of the board so you dont get that "teeder-todder" feel on the b-side. Stick with it and go get that B-side. Best board ive ridden in a long time.
