Sirius Radio Gain Adjustment

I am guessing the answer to this is "No" but I will ask anyway...

I have a Clarion M475 HU and I just added a Sirius adapter. It connects to the Cnet connection with the ipod connected to the thru input on the Sirius adapter.

The Sirius plays back quite a bit louder then the Ipod connection (or any other input - CD, regular radio).

Is there anyway to adjust the gain for just the Sirius radio to level out all the inputs? I am afraid someone is going to switch the input to the Sirius without turning down the volume ...

Bump...

A few lookers but no comments....I am guessing the answer is no, I can't adjust the gain on the Sirius radio??

Anyone else notice this on their setup??

Have you tried calling Clarion tech support? Unless there is a gain on the unit you installed I cannot think of any adjustments that can be made.

Some Sirius units do have a volume control if memory serves, but I've never seen the ability to use any sat radio controls with any type of a direct connection to the stereo. Perhaps you can try and adjust the volume of the unit when its not being controled by the the deck and see if it somehow will hold the settings. I doubt this will work but its worth a shot. Good luck

what is the model # of the sirius radio??

The Sirius interface is the CLA-SC1 and the tuner is the SCC1.

The CLA-SC1 connects to the HU via a Cnet cable z(where I had the Ipod before) and now the Ipod connects to the CLA-SC1 in a thru Cnet port.

I've not seen any adjustments on my same unit and my Sirius is NOWHERE near as loud as a CD....
