I have been using a 131 for the past i dont know how many years maybe like 4. Well anyways im looking into buying a new board. Im about 5-10 145ish. I want atleats like a 136 but i found a killer deal on e the murray 142 and i was just wondering if that would work. Like i have seen a lot of the pros use way bigger boards. just wondering what you all thought on this matter. any help would be appreciated

I am 5'11" and 195. I ride a 142. I think its all about preference and feel. I am comfortable with my board, cause I have ridden it for about a year. If I had chosen a different size I would probably feel the same. Just see if you can test a few and see how they feel. I would think with your height and stance width, you should have no problem riding either one.

Honestly..... I feel at 145, going above a 138 is a bad idea. Bigger can be better but at your weight a 136-138 is big!

But then I know nothing and its fun to demo, just don't buy without trying as I am 99.9999% positive you'll think it's way too big!

Agree with Paul. IMO a 142 is to big for ya.Stick with a 135 to 138.

demo it, but if you can't, play it safe and go smaller
