I did a search on this and it seems the season is May - Sept. What are the lakes around Lakewood and Littleton, and are there any private lakes in the area?

Chattfield Reservoir, Cherry Creek and Sloan Lake (Small). During the week those lakes are great but after 5 they will get a lil crowded. Weekends forget about it. 2 hr drive to get good water on weekends. <BR> <BR>Early May you will need a wetsuite. Water around here will be low to mid 60's in early may. September is the best low crowds and the water is still nice. <BR> <BR>There are a lot of private lakes Norht of Denver and South of Fort Collins in the western I25 corridor. <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>(Message edited by burn229 on February 02, 2008)
