today i hired a wakeskate from the local and anyway i was doing it like got up first time could cut both directions and do a couple or butterslides and wake slides. <BR>yeah it seemed sorta boring after that coz i cant skateboard for s|-|it and yeah i couldnt really ollie that great and didnt even bother trying to land a wake to wake instead i just cut as hard as i could and had a laugh. <BR>i cant really see whats so great about it. <BR>like i watch guys like horrell and how sweet they look doing all the tech tricks but it must take a s|-|itload of time to advance that far!!

Thats cool, ya know, to each his own. I suck at it too and skateboarding for that matter, i just think its so fun, it feels so loose, like I feel like I have no limits on a skate, i dunno, there's just something about it... I think its sooo much more fun finless, but again thats jus personal preference. It slides arround so easy.. oh man, good stuff. I luv it. It took me like 6 times to get up, and then I fell. Then I got up again, tried to go out of the wake and fell again. I can go outside the wake now and board slide, thats about it. Yup, thats me on a wakeskate.<img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/blush.gif" border=0>

I to totally suck at the skate but love it. I think when watching videos that when the guy just play on the wake.....slide, jump, flip, spin, ...it just looks so smooth, they are in so much control. Id rather see a sweet butterslide and surface 360 than a W2W kickflip....imo

I'm fat so i cant deep water start, but i can dock start like nobody's business, if you wanna get better at tricks take your wakeskate on one of those big ass trampolines, Thats how i go tthe hang of shovits and kickflips
