My company is flying me out to San Antonio this coming Wednesday-Friday Feb 2-4 for a meeting, so I was all excited that I get to check out the cables and lakes at the Texas Ski Ranch and then I go to their website and they are closed except Friday and Saturday!? What? It's going to be partly cloudy and in the 60's. What a bummer.

Is there anywhere else around SanAntonio to Austin that I can get a pull sometime Wed-Thu?

You might try getting on the local Austin boarding site:

http://www.360wakeboard.com

Pat McElhinney has a school in Seguin. Seguin is about 30 minutes east of San Antonio on I-10. His website is www.mcelhinneywakeboardschool.com. Pat is really laid back, excellent teacher and fun to ride with. His website is very accurate in my experience. Just a thought.

Thanks Neil and Tammy. I called Stacey in Seguin today and they have been closed a while because all the area lakes flooded and won't open until March. Bummer. I'll check out 360wakeboard.com.

FL SurfLover

You are welcome. Sorry it did not pan out. I had not talked to Pat or Stacey since just before Christmas. I knew they had a flood in Novemeber and the lake was screwed up because of it. I was hoping everything would be back to normal by now. I wanted to go ride over there some this month if the weather cooperated on the weekends.

I hope you enjoy your stay in San Antonio. It is a fun town. The river walk and the Alamo are nice places to see. Austin in less than 90 minutes away. There is a lot to do there too. Hopefully you will find a pull on the site Tammy suggested. Take care. Neil
