I like the statue shot (no off color comments please). That's the kind of shot that works well in B&W!

Haha! Thanks Rich. I was actually really lucky to get this shot of the David as they don't let you take pictures in there. I brought my camera up for literally one second before I had two guards on my arse telling me to put it away. This was the only shot I got but it turned out pretty well I think.

So forgive my ignorance, are the digital shots above taken in color and then converted to B&W (in camera or photoshop)? <BR> <BR>or taken as B&W...

Brian - Color and then converted in photoshop. Much better to take in color as then you have the choice of either B&W or color later on.

Nice Dave! Those the gears from the cable cam? Here is a photo of "Buddy." A homeless man that my friend and I interviewed yesterday on the street. He has been walking around Minneapolis having people sign stuff for the past 15 years. He named off the number of coats and hats he has gone through but I can't remember of the top of my head. It was an insane about though. Anyway, since we were shooting on the 5D I took a few seconds to snap a couple portraits before he had to catch a bus. |
