Where did you install your antenna and run the wires. Also, I bought the Roadie external unit and I was ondering how people hooked up their roadie system to an existing stereo system.

I have the XM Delphi unit, I believe it's similar to the roadie. Anyway, I used an FM modulator to play the XM through the existing head unit. This does work but does not give the best fidelity. As for the antenna, I put it in the bow of the boat, under the fiberglass, just below the bow light. I placed the antenna, flat side down on a piece of Dynamat, the put some silicone glue on the Dynamat and stuck it up in there. Seems to work very well.

Jay, what type of antenna do you have for your boat?

I placed mine on my dash. I slipped the wire under the lip of a cupholder.

Mine is under the dash, works fine.

I have mine on the top of my Tower. Works great. I bought the Roof Mount one and wiretied it to one of the cross supports. I have nevr lost signal once. Not even under bridges.

Mike, I have the little antenna that came with the Delphi unit. Small, looks like a minature mouse (computer mouse).

At first i put mine on the dash but lost the signal now and then. So i ended up putting it on top of the tower. I had to cut the wire and feed it through the tower & then resolder the connection. it works great now.
